Wine a Little
Tour a winery in the eastern part of Austria, that dates back to the year 1758 when Countess Maria Lunati-Visconti, the spouse of Prince Paul II. Anton Esterházy, gave instructions to plant Pinot Noir vines from Burgundy in the region. The noble winery produced amazing wines appreciated by the court of Empress Maria Theresia, and composer Joseph Haydn, the world-renowned court musician, who took a portion of his salary in the form of wine, as was proved by the payment in kind recorded in 1789.
Following a private tour, you are then invited to try your enological skills by blending your very own Cuvée.
