FAMILY VACATION: EUROPE 2.0 – 14 Days – United Kingdom, France, Italy, Greece

London – Paris – Rome – Athens – Saronic Islands

DAY 1 – ARRIVE LONDON

Your private driver awaits as you exit the airport’s luggage hall to whisk you to your centrally located hotel, offering connecting rooms and family suites. Time is set aside to relax from your journey, before you are picked up for a private orientation tour of London, followed by dinner in a typical local pub or, if you would like to try, at a Pie and Mash Shop.

DAY 2 – LONDON

Join our local expert for a morning on the town, and see London’s little secrets: the city’s smallest police station (maximum occupancy: 1), casts of human noses attached to buildings in Soho, and perhaps London’s only remaining sewer-powered gas lamp built in the 1880s. Then it’s off to the Tower of London for an original tour by a resident Yeoman Warden.

DAY 3 – LONDON

The day is yours to explore; we will be delighted to arrange for skip-the-line access to the London Eye, pair you up with a local contact who will show you soccer team Arsenal’s stadium and take you on a back-stage tour, or get you behind the scenes of Harry Potter or Downton Abbey.

DAY 4 – LONDON-PARIS

Your private driver will accompany you to London’s St. Pancras station, where you board a sleek Eurostar train for Paris. You will be met by your private driver and minivan, and chauffeured to your hotel. Take in the “City of Lights” during an illumination cruise on the River Seine tonight, and dine at a local family restaurant.

DAY 5 – PARIS

Join your local art expert for a tour of the main sights of Paris: admire Arc de Triomphe, cruise down the Champs-Elysees, stop for photos at Trocadero, and visit Notre Dame Cathedral. Then continue with a walk of Île Saint-Louis, and sample local delicacies at a bakery and ice cream shop.

Tonight, attend Olivier Giraud’s widely-acclaimed comedy show teaching you How to Become Parisian In One Hour.

DAY 6 – PARIS

Visit a local perfume shop today, and create your very own Parisian fragrance. In the afternoon, we can arrange a private viewing of one of Paris’ numerous and spectacular museums including the Louvre, and Musée d’Orsay, or an outing to Versailles Palace and Gardens.

DAY 7 – PARIS – ROME

This morning, we will collect you from your hotel for a private Segway excursion in your favorite Arrondissement. The remainder of the day is at your leisure – catch up on your shopping, or climb Montmartre for spectacular views of the city.

In the evening, transfer to the station and board your overnight train to Italy.

DAY 8 – ROME

Arrive in Rome, and transfer to your hotel where we have secured an early check-in for you. Then embark on a fun sightseeing tour of Rome, tracing the footsteps of Julius Cesar.

DAY 9 – ROME

Depending on your preferences, today suggest to join a local chef for a trip to the local market, followed by a private cooking lesson, or, alternatively, attend a Gladiator School and find out about the fascination of spectator sports 2000 years ago.

DAY 10 – ROME – ATHENS – SARONIC ISLANDS

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens; upon arrival, our driver will take you directly to the port of Piraeus, where your hydrofoil for Poros awaits you. Disembark at the lushest of the Saronic Islands, and transfer to your beach front hotel. Unlike other, more touristy island destinations, Poros has retained its authentic air and warm local atmosphere.

DAY 11 – SARONIC ISLANDS

All day is yours to explore Poros, engage in water sports, relax on the beach or take a cruise around the island.

DAY 12 – SARONIC ISLANDS

Why not take an excursion to the island of Hydra today? If you and your family are history buffs, we will be happy to arrange for a private tour of the most important sights of the Peloponnese: Mycenae, Corinth and Epidaurus, all within and easy day trip from Poros.

DAY 13 – ATHENS

Bid farewell to the islands as you board your ferry to Piraeus and Athens. Upon arrival, our local guide and driver will welcome you to the Greek capital and invite you to join them for an introductory tour of the Acropolis, and the center of Athens. Check into your hotel in the Plaka area, where in the evening your local host will pick you up for a fun walk to discover Anafiotika, a settlement hidden deep within the narrow alleys of central Athens, built by workers from the island of Anafi. Then indulge on a lavish dinner, accompanied by traditional Bouzouki music.

DAY 14 – DEPART ATHENS

Your private airport or cruise port transfer collects you from your hotel after breakfast in time for your onward journey.
